Last week, at Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, CA, Funcom put on a great gameplay demo for their upcoming MMO The Secret World. Also, at GDC, we had a chance to chat with Martin Bruusgard - Lead Designer on The Secret World. In the gameplay demo, the team guides us through some of The Secret World's character creation, gameplay mechanics and some basic gameplay in the demo.
In the interview, which you can check out above, Pico sits down with Martin Bruusgaard to talk about The Secret World. For those unfamiliar with the game, The Secret World is Funcom's upcoming MMO that puts a spin on the modern world. In Funcom's world, there is a secret battle for power being waged by three secret societies; The Dragon, The Templar and The Illuminati. Players choose one faction and strive to see their society reign above the rest, all the while facing the darkness and mystery that plagues the world.
