Towns is a city-building RPG in which you are the leader of a small settlement. Give your citizens direction, and watch them work to please you (or slack off, you can't win them all). Design elaborate interiors and exteriors, with tools available to craft a large variety of items. Dig deep into the earth, acquire resources, explore dungeons, and make sure your town can support your hero to victory.

I give you the Temple to the God King Nux!
We start with a full view of the outside of the temple. Please notice the fishing docks behind the temple. You will also notice that the fountain in the back of the temple is currently not running due to the fountain flood gate being closed.

Now moving down a notch to view the interior, you will notice the beautiful foutain ponds with flower beds on either side of the Golden Statue of the God King Nux.
On the left hand side is the Aux. Flood Control Gate used to empty the Aquaducts of water in case of emergancy or maintenance.

Finally, it is time to turn on the fountain. Step by step is illistrated to show the detail and level of capability you can achieve using water lifts and flood gates.

I do hope you enjoyed your visit to the Temple of the God King Nux.
Please note, no mods were used in the function of the fountain or its construction. Water lifts and flood gates are a default feature of Towns. [MOD] Towns++ v11a7 by BlueSteelAUS used to altar terrain from grassland to desert for aesthetics purpose only as well as to use the rope bridge by LittleMikey. All graphics, textures, and functions depected in pictures are default to Towns with exception to the rope bridge texture.

Cornuland, a water themed park.
By Jon_jon13
Hope you like it!
Water themed town :) Originally was going to carve out the dungeon to have multiple levels of falling water... It was a learn as you go adventure and I made some structural mistakes that I would do differently if I were to start from scratch. I'm a little itchy to start from scratch, but I figured I should at least work out the rough mechanics of things before I do that :D

Some things discovered:
- water falls absolutely straight down so it is easy to predict where to put catchment.
- a square of water will not evaporate if it is totally full.
- always do water spouts from the back of the screen so they don't obstruct the view.
- water is way more powerful when falling down, it seems to stack up faster or something at the bottom, so bigger evaporation fieldsare needed then you would need on 0 (I think?).
- the shape/size of a pond will also effect evaporation due to how fast the pond gets and stays full.
- water will not fall down on a diagonal if you are digging underneath.
- would personally dig out my pipes and line them with brick so they look nicer as you navigate down.
- always put flood gates at the water source, if you put them (I like to do three in a row) one mud block away then you can successfully excavate the mud without drowning the townie.
- put flood gates at frequent intervals on pipes for easy access and expansion.
- leave a space between water elevators so water can get between them, they work better that way.
Cheers,
NTE
