Square Enix has released two brand new character class videos for their recently released MMO Wakfu. The two character classes being spotlighted are the Xelor and the Sacrier, the latter of which is embedded above.
Wakfu was released on February 29th and boasts a deep political system that could see you end up in the shoes as Governor as well as a living, breathing ecosystem that relies on players to stay alive. The Xelor and Sacrier are just two of twelve original character classes that players can choose in Wakfu. The Xelor are made in the image of the god Xelor, who created the concept of time in the game universe. These are time manipulators, given the gift by their god Xelor. They can bend time to their will, slowing their enemies or teleporting across the map at their discretion.
Where the Xelor are magi, relying on gifts from their god, the Sacrier are much more straightforward. Sword in hand, the Sacrier are berserkers who revel in the carnage of battle. Fighting a Sacrier can be a tricky prospect as they only gain strength from being beaten by their enemies and will keep on fighting to the bitter end. The Sacrier aren't all swords and battle, though, and are known to frequent local taverns.
