I’ve been a fan of Zero Punctuation since its inception, as Yahtzee never fails to disappoint. And now he’s once again delivered, this time on a title I’ve been long awaiting his review of. While he has to this point avoided reviewing World of Warcraft, with Cataclysm now released he caved in to demands from his viewers and finally put together a piece just for Cataclysm.
It’s Yahtzee gold, and in a lot of cases hits the nail on the head with analogies on the “why’s” of player addictions to World of Warcraft, and MMOs in general. The genre is like a drug a lot of the time, but fortunately for Yahtzee, he hasn’t yet gotten hooked. At least not long enough to stay hooked.
This video is very PG13, and in some cases could be considered “R-rated” if you were going by movie ratings. If you’re not a fan of harsh language then you’ll want to pass on it, but if you’re okay with that and are up for a laugh, check it out.
