It's still a bit barren, but the promised announcement for November 25th appears to have surfaced. The guild comprised of ex-Nihilum and ex-SK Gaming members will officially be called Ensidia. Their website is now online at http://www.ensidia.com and they've made the first announcement located here. The old twentyfifthnovember website also redirects to the new website now.

Ensidia is a joint effort by members of two of the top guilds in World of Warcraft, with the support and endorsement of a private entity based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Our guilds have made being at the forefront of PVE progression our modus operandi since the first installment of this game and, as Ensidia, we will continue to do so.
In addition, within the week, we will launch a guild web portal that will:
- Be the hub for our guild members and likeminded folk.
- Provide for the sizable hardcore/moderate population in our community.
- Evolve to fit the complex tastes and needs of the WoW community in general.
Check back here over the next few days.
It's surprising to hear they're financially backed by a private entity; sponsorship is one thing, but this appears to be taking it to an entirely new level.
What are your thoughts on the name?

Where have you been, man? They've been up. Now there's like a million more.
Plus, some dude in Dubai of all places is *sponsoring* them? Call it what you want (be it paranoia, bigotry, or whatnot), but I'm exercising my right to say, "This looks like a friggin' nuke master switch in a kindegarten homeroom, and there is a giant button with giant bold letters saying 'PUSH ME.'"
Why the Hell does a Guild need private funding? What are they doing, hooking everyone up with IVs so they can play WoW 24/7/365?
I, for one, think this is the worst news yet to hit the WoW community.

Is it a bad thing? I'm not sure yet. There are plenty of financially backed StarCraft/Warcraft III players around the world, so we'll have to see.

"...Our guilds have made being at the forefront of PVE progression our modus operandi since the first installment of this game..."
SHUT UP LOL you're not scholarly wizards you're freaking nerds. I liked Nihilum a lot and I am upset that they have become this self-centered mass of attention-whores.

Yeah, so you can be more famous and get more money from your adds. Or master... so to speak.
Games are for fun. Why should those millions of people/paying customers suffer cause you want to earn a bargain? Get real.
WoW instances shouldnt be dumbed down too much, sure! But requesting ultra hardcore instances for your own sake... Where no casual guild stand a chance because they dont have the time or being payed for the time AND where they have to pay for the time they spend to clear this dungeon... is foolish. You're only a small portion of the customers who again tries to earn a bargain for something you/we are already paying for. PvE should never ever be something you can earn money on. It's as stupid as it sounds.
It's all about the fun... the giggles and the mess ups your lads are doing when you do the encounter. Some wants to be No.1 on the dps meters but thats another 2 cents.
PvP is something else... that's competition even though some random factors like a resist can mess up your game. At least it's annoyingly "fair" and random unlike PvE where you only have to train and do it right over and over again to loot epics.
Besides, who are they trying to fool? They rushed through the expansion in what? Like 3 days? I highly doubt they finished any of the quests lines in any zone during that time. Just reading through the lore and remember it would take a week if your that hardcore.
Sigh!

If you had the time, if you put the work into it, if you could do what they've done...I think a majority of people would, I mean who wouldn't want to get paid for playing a game?
I commend the efforts of these guys. I work in as a production manager in the realm of a rather new extreme sport that requires major sponsorship to stay active. My brother is one of the performers at the front of the action. He makes his living by jumping snowmobiles. No other job, been doing this since he was 16.
It's a dream to everyone to make a living or some sort of income off of something we love to do. These guys have obviously put lots of work (not only in game to complete content before everyone else, but outside in a business realm to secure sponsorship and support). Its like I tell people that complain about my brother's career, "You go backflip a 500lbs machine." Well, go kill Arthas before everyone else and get your own sponsorship. They're the pioneers into a possible new digital sport which also means there's potential for MORE of these sponsorships in the gaming realm. One thing I've noticed is when one company or entity supports something new, there's always more bound to follow. Just a matter of marketing.
As for tailoring the game for a specific group of people...Blizzard is a company with a lot of success, a lot of money, and a lot of knowledge. From what I've seen, MMOs will most always benefit new players to expand population growth and keep them encouraged enough to stick with the game. WoW has been one of the MMOs i've played that has actually encouraged me to stick around even though nerfs to help new players with the game. If they tailor parts of the game for the elite player base...whats the deal? There is enough of WoW for every type of player. I would hope that they would cater to everyone in some sort of fashion. There should always be something difficult, always be another step to climb to, there should always be a way to progress. Blizzard has a good grip on this, and even finds ways for players who couldn't see certain content to do so. When everything in TBC got nerfed, there were huge amounts of players getting their hands deep in TK, BT, and Hyjal...stuff they'd never of tried before the nerf.
This brings into play a new possible kind of competition out here in the World of Warcraft. I'm excited to see where it goes. A little worried about future content, but keep in mind...the content will be tailored to what BLIZZ thinks is best. They'll take into consideration what people throw at them, but they're not going to let any group (elite or newb) change the course of this game they've so well laid out and planned.
Just my 2c.
