Check out the new Wrath of the Lich King instance where you can experience "Stratholme Past" (yes I know there should be an s there, however this is the actual name of the instance) before it was taken over by the scourge and eventually ended up to always be on fire.

I'll have to visit Old Strat some time... In this video it feels like you're being a citzien that knows that this city... Your beloved home city... The place where you've grown, where you've become a great warrior... You know it will be burned to ashes... I remember when I;ve been visiting Stratholme lota time ago it gave me a feeling of sadness... of feeling alone... of greatness destroyed... a feeling... of darkness.
