Salthem (EU Blue Poster) has updated the 2.3.2 PTR Patch Notes with some significant changes:
General
* Effects triggered from being critically hit: Many abilities and talents were changed in 2.3.0 to allow them to trigger from critical strikes that occurred while the player benefitting from them was sitting.
Druids
* Lifebloom: When this ability is refreshed it will take on the strength of the incoming Lifebloom effect, rather than maintain the existing strength.
Mages
* Conjure Mana Gem mana restore variance substantially reduced,(Rank 5 Emerald) now restores 2340 to 2460 mana and has three charges.
* Icy Veins (NEW Frost Talent) decreases casting time of all spells by 20% and increases the chance your chilling effects will freeze the target by 10%. Lasts 20 sec. 3 min cooldown. It is now in the Cold Snap position in the talent tree.
Rogues
* Hemorrhage weapon damage reduced from 125% to 110%, but the damage debuff has been increased.
* Shadowstep now awards 1 combo point.
Shaman
* Earth Shield (Restoration) mana cost reduced, now it has a 30 second cooldown.
Items
* Hex Shrunken Head: This item now has a 20 second shared cooldown with other similar trinkets.
Bug Fixes
* Characters may now possess up to five Paper Flying Machines in a single stack.
* Creatures with random player targeting crowd control abilities such as fear, charm, or sleep will now properly choose a random eligible target rather than just choosing the nearest eligible target.
* The various Hallows End broom mounts now have their proper real-time (rather than game-time) duration of 14 days.
* Tricky Treats now have their proper real-time (rather than game-time) duration of 24 hours.

"wasteful space = caps " - ShadeofChaos
And your 12 line rant wasn't a waste of space? Good job posting a comment that goes against it's own statement.
ShadeofChaos, firstly anyone who uses the term 'noob' fails, they fail in life, they fail in getting a girlfriend, they fail at getting a job.
Secondly, yes, caps is considered spam in a comment page; quote: "Spam is the talking of pure jibberish, irrelevance to the subject of a matter or using wasteful space when not needed" wasteful space = caps and using a line after every sentence, people can still read what you say, I'm not sure why you have to double the size and take up loads of the page.
Thirdly, Megaman did not get owned, you just owned yourself, in showing how mentally challenged you are.
Finally, I thought WoW was a 12+, what's this kid doing playing on it?
I laugh at how people like to rant with pure caps... plus I bet you have no skill AT ALL in PvP anyways..
Thats the only real reason why people rant about this stuff anyway.. they either have no skill or its their own class. (at least IMO)
I play a shaman/rogue 2v2 got up to 2100 and true that it's really fucking stupid that earth shield is getting a cooldown but why does it matter if pretty much every team can just dispell it anyways and you are forced to just use water shield unless the dispeller is retarded and can't see the giant glowing rocks circling around you and the buff that everyone can see that says Earth Shield. And if it's against a team that doesn't have a dispeller then I'm pretty sure that it will be off cd by the time they break through it.
OMFG
WTF
IS FUKING BLIZZARD DRUNK OR WHAT????
30 SECONDS COOLDOWN TO EARTH SHIELD?^???
RESTO SHAMANS ASKED FOR A FUKING BUFF SINCE MONTHS AND THEY CAME UP WITH A FUKING NERF LIKE THAT???
REALLY BLIZZARD ARE U IDIOT OR WHAT????
WHY SHOULD I PAY FOR RETARDS PATCHES???
WAKE UP BLIZZ ON SHAMANS REALLY SHAMANS ARE BROKEN AND BLIZZARD KEEP NERFING EM
MADNESS
The developers are not self serving. They have a really hard job balancing the classes for two very different aspects of the game . Make a change that is good for PvP, it may be bad for PvE and vice versa. The only real solution to this would be to remove PvP from the game entirely, which of course, will never happen. I for one, having never done any arenas and very little of the world PvP, would not miss it, but I know I'm in the minority there. It would, however, make balancing the classes much easier.
Kalgan had a resto shaman on his 3v3 team to show resto shaman could do arena. He dropped the shaman for a resto druid late in the season. He saw the weakness of having a resto shaman as a healer and made the change. Yes certain specs do better in pvp but weak specs should not be made weaker. The earthsheild change makes little sense. It does not even the scales only adds to the mistrust many of us have for a self serving bunch of developers. It took a dot campaign to undo Kalgans last burst of genius, what will it take this time.
Jeez they're nerfing PVE druids just to balance 2v2 PVP druid/war fights. Talk about lame. They're basically removing one of the main reasons to keep a resto druid in a 10 man raid. I really wish Blizzard would stop this nonsense and make completely separate game mechanics for battlegrounds and Arenas.
People have to understand that Blizzard don't want to balance every spec for everything. It is well known that Blizzard show preference to certain specs for certain tasks. For example, Shadow Priests in PvP are viable but it is well known (and self eveident) that Disc/Holy Priests ARE better for PvP.
Looks like I now have two choises as a shaman:
1. Stop doing arena
2. Respec
It is truly hard to believe how stupid Kalgan, Tigole, and the other "lead" devopers are. No one can say a resto shaman is overpowered in the arena. With absolutely no cc ability's and only a very easily dispellable earthshield as protection opposing teams just locked them down and or just focus fire them to death.
So what does Kalgan do? He makes earthshield cost less mana then in a moment of true genius goes it is overpowered, lets put a cool down on it, Kalgan it was broke and it now even more so. Making it cheaper did not address the problem! Giving it a cooldown only leaves coal in your stocking.
I only see the 30 second cooldown on ES really affecting PvP. In which case, I, a Shaman, am glad to see that change. It always irked me that when I would purge an ES the opposing shaman would just pop it back up, therefore causing me another purge and another global cooldown. From the PvE standpoint, your MT is probably not gonna expend all 10 charges on ES in 30 seconds, and if he/she does, oh well, NS + HW.
I'm also glad to see the Hemo buff being reduced to 110% even with the buff to the effect.
And as for the Lifebloom change, that's probably how the designers had it thought out in the first place. Sure Druids are gonna be pissed, but oh well, live with it, you were just abusing an unintentional effect of the spell.
And for the broom change: It's not a nerf, it's a fix. That's how the items on Halloween have always been.
Go ahead, flame away for me supporting Blizz.
Same. With it on game time, the rickety broom my bank alt had wouls probably last me till next Hallow's End.
What the... why did they kill the broom mount? That's one of the best mounts available, I love mine. I had counted on it lasting me a while still.
@Ashroya: I'll do it!
