Death Knights and the Naaru

iTunes remote and video capture features on PC

Bug Fixes

  • Clients utilizing OpenGL video modes will no longer experience graphical anomalies and missing textures after minimizing/maximizing the window.
  • Fixed an issue that caused Fel Eye Stalks during the Legion Ring event to not despawn when the event is completed.
  • Fixed an issue where zoning after mounting and summoning a pet was disconnecting players.
  • Fixed an issue where the Shift key would get stuck in game.
  • Using a /equip macro while affected by certain crowd control spells will no longer cause the items in the macro to be stuck in your inventory.
  • Using very low values for SetScale() will no longer cause Mac users to disconnect from the game.
  • Default sound channels have been changed from 12 to 32.
  • Microphone resources will no longer be claimed by World of Warcraft when Voice Chat is disabled.
  • Sounds will no longer stutter and pause if large amounts of creatures are being hit with AoE attacks from multiple sources.
  • Sounds caused by spells cast on or by the player will now play more consistently.

Brewfest Hot Fixes

As we’ve seen a large number of issues stem from the Dark Iron attacks on Brewfest, both for our players and the game service, they have been temporarily disabled. At this time we’re still in the process of evaluating the situation and developing a better solution; however we hope to see the Dark Iron dwarves resume their attacks as soon as possible.

Until then we’ve increased the ticket rewards for the daily "Bark For..." quests from 15 to 40 tickets, and for the keg delivery quest which can be completed every 12 hours we've increase the value of each keg to 3 tickets. This still allows everyone to gain tickets at a rate comparable to what we intended the average player to be able to achieve before the Dark Iron attacks were disabled. For some players, especially on realms where tickets from the attacks were difficult to achieve, the amount of tickets received per-day could actually be increased.

As the Dark Iron attacks have stopped, we’re removing the ability to obtain a “Complimentary Brewfest Sampler” by /waving at Brewfest barkers and maidens (this hotfix will be applied soon). This will remain disabled and should the attacks begin again the samplers will be obtained through alternate means.

We’ve also hotfixed the Brewfest goggles to remove their duration. They are now permanent! The duration timer will continue to show until the next patch, but it will not affect the permanence of the goggles.

Update 10/04 9:57 AM PDT: We're aware the barking quests are not currently functioning for most, or all players and realms. We're in the process of investigating.

    i couldn't even finish watching the video I'm not even going to believe that video for the sole fact that in every other scene the rogues gear changes.

    Uhh the world of roguecraft is pretty much making fun of rogues, and showing what they can do in comparison. It is not someone saying that rogues should be buffed at all dude.

    lol @ world of roguecraft, I dont even bother to follow dialogues anymore, since the guy just failed to grasp as usual that people just aren't happy when they're not whining on WoW forums.
    On my rogue I whine too about warriors, but if they nerf warriors so that rogues will kill them easily, then I'd like the situation even less since
    a) Warriors are players too so why shouldn't they have a class who's whining about them. After all he showed himself too that warlocks are whining about rogues.
    b) I would have to start on some other class.
    I don't think I'm that exceptional, I probably just notice it a little better.

    As for pvp part: I watch movies for their quality, not for the crits or the "skill" of the guy who made them so I won't say anything on a PvP movie, since that would equal reviewing an opel for how fast you could drive with it, and by how much you can go past speed limit.

    If you disagree I can understand that, but please don't start flame wars here, which will only irritate people.

    I opened a ticket around 9-ish server time on Ravenholdt and my eventual response was basically a long and more proper "We're working on it." That said, later in Dun Morogh general someone said that a GM told them they think it's caused by too many people doing it at once.
