Well, the 2.2 PTR has been shut down, so that means the patch is imminent - possibly next Tuesday, though they may still be doing some internal testing of the final build, which could delay it if they find anything last-minute. That aside, there are a few interesting posts on the forums.
The PTRs will be taken offline today September 20th at 11:00 AM Pacific Time, this will conclude our public testing for 2.2.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2.2 PTR, your patience and assistance has been greatly appreciated.
I hope to see you all again in the next test phase.
I know this topic is important to many people and keeps coming up. While we have many changes coming up for the various classes in an upcoming patch, we don't have specifics to share as of yet, nor do we have anything further to add to the mage tax concerns right now.
The concerns are known by the development team, however, and should there come a point where we have further information from them on this, we'll definitely share it with you.
It should be possible yes, but it would be a rather slow process if you don't get a fixed group of players to team up with. Forming a successful PUG can be a time consuming task, especially if you have to do it every time you enter an instance.
I would personally say that it would be faster levelling up if you focus on doing quests.
There were also some new Wrath of the Lich King screenshots released today; you can check them out below!
