Blizzard is busy on the forums again today, providing interesting answers for various questions. Here's a quick recap of the activity.
We're mindful of space concerns, and increasing the base backpack size is certainly a possibility for the future. We have other space and storage increases currently in the works for release before Wrath though, and we'll be talking about those soon™.
Can you give us those Super Backpacks from the PTR the 36 slotters i still has space issues even using those XD.
Probably not. But don't worry, there's better stuff in the works.
Quick question: Can we please make more things count as keys for the key-ring bag? Onyxia neck, Maraudon princess key(staff thing), the transponder for gnomereggan, etc? Or else give us an option to replace them with actual keys? That alone would be a big help.
The general design decision there is that anything that isn't a key doesn't go on the keyring, especially something that can be equipped.
We can't answer this as of yet. Ret and Enhance changes are coming as you stated, but we can't say if it's coming at the same time as S3 yet or not. First we need to get patch 2.2.0 into live and then we need to get the next patch onto the test realms. We do plan to give people notice ahead of time on when we hope to initiate Season 3, however. We don't plan to give any advance previews of things either, but everyone will be able to check things out on the test realm when it all hits.
Just like the warlocks verbal about their practices in the Horde and Alliance, these death knights claim they can use their powers against the force that grants them, in this case the Lich King.
You are correct.
Keep in mind that Warlocks aren't generally welcomed with open arms either (depending on the culture of the race in question). It's most likely that Death Knights aren't going to find themselves being popular guests at the town picnic, however, I'm sure they will be utilized to combat the power of the Lich King just the same.
So the deathknights will be similar to the forsaken? In that they both simply escaped the lich king's grasp? Neato.
I wouldn't say necessarily similar, though I'm sure you could extrapolate some similarities. We have yet to lay out the path to becoming a Death Knight, however, there is significant question as to what choices will be available for those that go down that path. Remember, Arthas didn't set out to become a Death Knight, but his good intentions were twisted on him. He may yet get some pleasure out of doing the same to others.
Because Mac OSX has the ability for such things integrated into it.
That is pretty much the reason why, but that doesn't mean the developers aren't looking into a similar feature for WoW running on Windows machines :-)
It's a guess but I'm fairly certain that's why. I mean I can record pretty happily under Linux, where as I hear windows recording programs can be a little clunky. I guess it's something to do with the UNIX past of Linux and OSX, but as to what it is, I have no idea.
I think you are quite right on this... I think I heard somewhere that Mac machines also have some built-in hardware support for stuff like recording videos, but I am not entirely sure on this however.
There were also three new pieces of Fan Art added to the official Blizzard Fan Art section. Head over to check them out; they're titled "Fighter," "Lightning Breath" and "Golden Elixir."
