Just two weeks after the 2.1 patch release, the EU-Magtheridon guild Nihilum has completely cleared the Black Temple, with their kill of Illidan Stormrage this morning.

Blizzard stated that they are going to be retuning the Black Temple and Hyjal bosses and making them more difficult. I presume that they will be having to "relearn" atleast some of the encounters!
And what will Nihilum do until Hyjal is open? Gettin Illidan down safely?
you dont even know what you are talking about oogabooga. in private servers bosses fight like normal mobs.
even if they were scripted, to recreate the fight you have to know how it works

Some seem to forget that this content was up on the PTR for about 2 months and I am sure that Nihilum took full advantage of that time to learn this instance.
This world first is all about time and dedication of a team of people reaching for a goal.

Oogabooga......What in the heck are you talking about? They aren't using a private server..... Have you ever played one? They are no where up to par with blizzard servers, most of which don't even have Karazhan fully spawned, let alone The Black Temple. Maybe you should think before you speak bad about one of the best guilds in WoW.
Anyway, grats to Nihilum. Downing Illidan in just 2 weeks is amazing.

use of any private server is ILLEGAL , no matter how you word it , so if this is how they did it , by getting god mode this way , and then going through every single instance this way , id say theyre cheating.......
people r sposed to be playing on the retail servers only , and the ones who cheat by playing on private server with unfair mods and tweaks , so they learn the tricks of bosses , in an unfair manner , dont deserve shit for recognition , it doesnt mean shit that they killed him first , or KT or any other instance boss , if theyve been doing this since pre-bc , they all just suck.

The 25 men instances in BC are not _that_ easy. Some bosses are easily of Naxxaramas difficulty and require more of perfect teamwork than good gear.
I have done both Gruul and Magtheridon when they were "hard mode" and if Blizzard would not nerf them insanely, there'd be still just a small minority farming them nowadays. I'll see in this raid lock how lady Vashj is about...
Most guilds just simply aren't as dedicated as Nihilum is to invest alot of time learning difficult encounters first on a private server in god mode that they have setup to prepare themselves for the real thing on a retail server.
Congrats Nihilum, keep up the hard work.
I find it slightly amusing that many of the people who complain about BT being "too easy" are the same people who complained that most high end raid instances were never going to be seen by the public.
Also, this is a guild that strives for world first kills, not your average raiding guild. Certainly not the right guild to base a dungeon's difficulty off of.
One can only congratulate to Nihilum - An awsome achievement :)
