Official press release from Enervate Gaming:
Today Enervate Gaming is pleased to announce that they have joined the recent WoW Arena boom by picking up 5v5 team The Fighting Mongooses. Their name derives from a Futurama reference, which really shows how light-hearted and fun the group is, never taking itself too seriously and being able to joke around with each other. Many of the members have extensive experience in other MMORPGS and are no stranger to competitive PvP play. Currently The Fighting Mongooses sit comfortably atop the respected Vengeance battlegroup, and fight weekly for the top spot across all the Battlegroups. They attribute most of their successes to extensive PvP experience and unparalleled level of group synergy. The starting roster is as follows:
Jon “Saturnine” Cresante – Undead Mage
Zach “Destromo” Gebhardt – Troll Shaman
Yan “Soulrender” Mi – Undead Priest
Jason “Kyna/Thraken” Rantanen – Blood Elf Paladin
Mike “Korgan” Springmann – Tauren Warrior
Steve “Korbin” Springmann – Tauren Shaman
They are a very close group, all of the members of the Fighting Mongooses have known and played with each other for at least two years, giving the team amazing synergy. Each group member is fairly close, especially Korbin, Korgan, and Saturnine. Saturnine and Korgan have known each other since elementary school, and Korbin is Korgan’s brother. These close relationships allow a very solid foundation of trust, friendship, and stability which allows the team to mesh together so well and play at an outstanding level.
Of course this isn't all, along with supporting The Fighting Mongooses; Enervate will also be behind the team’s guild, For Great Justice. After transferring from Bleeding Hollow to Mug`thol, two of the most respected guilds, Sock Puppets and Team Awesome, merged into a conglomerate PvP/PvE powerhouse. Not only noted for their PvP prowess, For Great Justice also has made quite a name for itself by being one of the first horde guilds to successfully complete Naxxramas. In order to build team unity and hone their skills, For Great Justice often held 5v5 Arena Tournaments (pre-BC), allowing all the members to not only get to know each other, but to learn from each other’s play styles. Exercises like these have helped mold For Great Justice into the dominant force that it is today.
We look forward to seeing what this great team and guild can do and with Enervate supporting them they are sure to be an intimidating force in all events they are a part of. As always we hope that everyone will wish Enervate Gaming, The Fighting Mongooses, and For Great Justice luck in all future endeavors. We would also like to give a big thanks to our current sponsors SteelSeries, JetNet Hosting, and MakeAVoice.
