General Forum Information
Update From the Front Lines Go to threadIn this thread, Tigole details quite a few upcoming changes to end-game content in patch 2.1.0.
This Week In Hot Fixes March 26 - April 1 Go to threadIn this thread, Drysc lists all of the hot fixes applied to WoW servers over the past week.
Job Opportunity! Go to threadIn this thread, Eyonix announces a job opening at Blizzard Entertainment.
Tournament rule about UIs Go to threadIn this thread, Drysc comments on the reasoning behind disallowing UI mods in the later portions of the Arena Tournament.
Without going into it too much, we didn't create those mods, and in the tournament setting that the regionals and finals will be, there could be legal issues involved with allowing their use. With the knowledge of this rule I would recommend getting in practice time using the default UI if it looks like you're going to make it to the regionals or finals. Good luck to you and your team!
Arena Tournament Rules+Problems Go to threadIn this thread, Drysc tries to clarify the reasons for some of the Arena Tournament rules.
For more information on who is eligible for the Arena Tournament, please visit the Ruleset page (http://armory.worldofwarcraft.com/#arena-tournament-rules.xml). We appreciate your understanding in those cases when eligibility has been limited due to these or other factors, and we will continue to work to include as many countries as possible in all of our competitions.
Some arena questions Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera answers some questions about the World of Warcraft Arenas, added with the expansion.
Matches don't end in draws since it's last man/woman standing to win the match.
Later she adds some information about matches that end in a draw:
When you play a match and it ends in a draw, it does not count as a match played. No one will be scored with a win and no one will be scored with a loss. Your ranking will not change.
can i change from aldor to scryer? Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera shares information on the question.
Yes, you need to talk someone in the lower city for that.
one expansion per year... Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera shares her thoughts on Blizzard's goal of one expansion per year.
You may think everyone is off partying somewhere but I can assure you, everyone is still very hard at work. Bug fixes, balancing and new content are all ongoing projects. We don't just have five people sitting alone in a room doing everything. We have many teams working on many things at once in order to continue making this the best MMORPG it can be. Whether you agree with whether we are achieving this or not is up to you to decide for yourself. We can't tell you what to believe only what we know we are doing and continuing to do.
Why there are no PvP healers Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera lets players know that healing variants of Arena and Honor rewards are on their way.
Healing weapons are on the way with an upcoming patch. I don't have any more specifics on what will be put in as of yet.
Yet another day filled with "Soon" Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera replies to comments about the use of "Soon" by Blizzard CM's when describing the release of patch information.
We don't give dates unless we are going to meet that date. While there are many people who understand that schedules can and will change, we tend to get a lot of negative feedback from many others who then get very upset about the delays.
My stoneclaw totem isnt working!! Go to threadIn this thread, Drysc better explains the functionality of the stoneclaw totem and its uses.
Are you attempting to deal with higher level mobs and are hoping to get a breather in by using it?
Do CMs see us by account or character? Go to threadIn this thread, Coreiel provides an answer to the question.
And OP, we see both character and account names.
Tanks : Learn To Turn Around Quicker Please Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera provides a bit of insight into why some tanks may turn slower than others when moving toward mobs.
I think the turning with the mouse thing is just something that those that have played a lot of FPS' with mouse and keyboard have learned. For those new to the idea, it takes some getting used to.
The Extra Flask Debate Go to threadIn this thread, Nethaera offers her opinions on the elixir master alchemy specialization providing extra flasks, and how players handle who gets the extra flask, when making them for other players.
Seeing how you are creating these items for free for them, it seems more likely that people may agree that any extras should be yours in lieu of payment. Be honest and up front with them and they won't feel like you're pulling the wool over their eyes whatever you decide.

> The Graphic issue on the Gladiator's Felweave Raiment is fixed. After installing the patch 2.1, you shouldn't see that trouble anymore. We are still working on the gloves.
