Please be careful about visiting links posted on the forums. We have seen a new outbreak of posts with a hostile program linked in it. The latest keylogger has the following file name within the link: tonydanza.a11net and ends with .html.

Just so everyone knows, I'm never downloading Curse Client ever again. My WoW account was hacked on Saturday, March 21. I know this because I found out on Sunday and when I was eventually able to log on later that day, people from my guild said I was logged on Saturday when I hadn't actually been online for the whole weekend. Anyway, I found out from fellow guildies there were warnings going around for the Curse Client regarding keyloggers. I immediately uninstalled it and performed a full sweep. This is the ONLY way anyone could have gotten into my account. No one knows my password or could guess it. No one uses my computer but me. And before you get all gung-ho on protection in defense of Curse, I have an anti-virus, anti-spyware, and 2 Firewalls up. But I digress.

This past Saturday, my addons were terribly out of date, so I figured I would cave and reinstall Curse to give it another shot. I mean, it is a great client. I reinstall, update, then immediately uninstall for safety's sake. I logged off 2 a.m. Sunday. I attempted to log in 2 p.m. Sunday, and wow, what do you know! My account's been hacked...AGAIN! I had already changed my password again, and no one could guess this one either. And no, no one uses or can even get onto my laptop except me. The first time, my lvl 75 character was completely stripped of all her gear, all gold and bag inventory stolen. Gold was missing from my other higher lvl characters as well. Blizzard was awesome enough to give me back my stuff the first time. I can hardly WAIT to see what's been stolen this time.

Thanks a lot Curse. If I ever need my WoW account to be anally raped in the future, I'll be sure to look you up.
