A blizzard poster replied to a post about hunter pet skills with some information about upcoming things such as the ability for hunter pets to have trainable and transferable abilities for their pets. Also, there is mention of the ability to toggle autoshot and autoattack on and off in the interface options.

"We are not adding more stable slots." That statement right there continues to make all hunters cry a little more inside. However, it is nice that Blizzard is taking a look at helping hunters out with their limited pet slots... -ish. This sounds like it will really have to be a wait-and-see to find out how Blizzard attempts to off-set the hunter 'disposable pet' slot that we all have to take if we intent to learn any new pet abilities.
