As lines form outside game stores around the world, and the mainstream media showers Blizzard’s expansion with praise, Burning Crusade lead producer Shane Dabiri has been talking about how just about everyone connected with the company helped create the new worlds.
He also revealed that, although console versions of the game are unlikely, some form of phone input or version is on the cards, “We’re definitely looking at phones. As far as console development for WoW, there are no plans at this time.”

Maybe you can access your bank, mailbox or AH from a phone. I've heard complaints from people that can't check their bids from work during the day so it's hard to win items without using the buyout option.
A strange title considering the only part where he refers to phones is right at the end, and in no way does he say a VERSION of WoW for phones. He suggests they would be used as an input of some sort. Maybe you would phone a gnomish engineer for help with a quest.
I read about something similar being in a game of old.
