Warning: Curse Client Sponsored Links On Google

A group of hackers and scammers have been hard at work recently buying up ads on Google to a fake Curse Client download page. When searching for the Curse Client on Google, the sponsored search result is a malicious website that you should not visit. As a reminder, the only place you should download the Curse Client is from http://www.curse.com/client/ to ensure it is the real client.

We're doing our BEST to contact Google and let them know what is going on, but please use extreme caution and only download from Curse.com.

Better yet add curse.com to your Bookmarks. If you are registered here and hit the remember me check mark you should see your nickname at top each time you head here. Then click on Client above.

LOL pues si que son imaginativos estos hackers, por dios ya no saben que hacer para quitarnos la cuenta si por cada uno que se lo instalen de alli les pagan a google 0.50€ a saber que es lo que ganan ellos lo bueno seria hacer 100000 de clicks para que los arruinaran lo más posible

google has a rule u cant bid on brands.. since curse could be called a brand.. i guess u can ask google to have them removed

Hence why you shouldn't rely on "sponsored links" for your stuff, and always check the URL.

I only get most of what Vido says. Or at least what I think he said. Sponsored links cost money for each user that click to that site. If we all click it but do not access its parts it will lose money.
