Blizzard Entertainment has announced details on their official global launch events for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria! Retail partners in the US, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the UK, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, and the region of Taiwan will welcome the first gamers to purchase and play WoW's fourth expansion, with members of the development team on hand at many of these locations to meet, greet, and sign copies!
“We can’t wait to meet up with players around the world and celebrate with them at the official launch events,” said Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment. “A lot of hard work and long hours went into making Mists of Pandaria a truly epic expansion, so we’re really looking forward to coming together and having some fun with the community before everyone takes off for the new continent.”
At the UK launch event, attendees will be privy to a stage presentation featuring a night full of activities, special guests, free loot, and more all before the expansion goes on sale at 11:00 PM.
In addition to the official UK event, stores around the world will open their doors at midnight local time to supply gamers with their fix. Details on all events can be found on Blizzard's official site!
