Description
Administrators sometimes have trouble finding a suitable punishment for a rule breaker. Kicking an annoying player doesn't do anything significant, but banning said player is often too harsh. This plugin provides a middle ground. Kill them with cactus!
Status
Updated to make the items fly all over the place, like a firework display. One possible future option would be to set the radius of the item scattering, to make it harder for people to reclaim all their items.
Functionality
- Cactusing a player kills the player by putting the player in a small box with a cactus floor.
- The box will only place itself in empty space at the top of the map, so it will not mess up creations.
- The box disappears when the player dies.
- Thus, if the player tries to escape the box by logging out, the box will remain.
- Players cannot simply break the cactus and get out.
- The plugin saves the location of all cactus prisons to a text file, so the plugin will not lose the locations of the prisons when the server restarts.
- Only ops can "cactus" players.
- Ops can also clear all cactus prisons.
- Now sprays the items all over the ground in a large circle.
Commands
- /cactus <playername> "Cactuses" a player.
- /cactus -clear Clears all cactus prisons.
- /cactus -info Gives information on the cactus plugin.
Changelog
Version 1.1 Added spreading the items out in a large circle. Now prevents the player from escaping the cactus by placing water. Now works for 1.0.1 Version 1.0 Release. Same code then tested for build 1559.
Basically the same as first version, but tested for 1.0.0.
