About SimpleSpawn

TOP 100 Rated Teleportation Plugin!

The SimpleSpawn plugin has just reached the top 100 most used plugins according to mcStats.org.

The success of this plugin is in no small part thanks to the players on the Ellitopia server pointing out bugs and helping me to give the plugin the real acid test that all plugins need.

Credit must also go to dh1jc who has been co-authoring the plugin with me for the last few months and has added a lot of the new commands that make the plugin what it is.

This achievement is by no means the end of the line for SimpleSpawn. There are still plans to improve upon this successful plugin.. who knows, it could even head toward the top 10!

Thanks to everyone who’s pitched in!

What is SimpleSpawn?

This simple plugin provides a simple way for server admins to manage /spawn locations and to allow players to set their own home locations.

The plugin allows each world to have it's own spawn point, which players are taken to when they use /spawn. It is fully multi-world compatible to allow /home to be used in any world. You can also set a default spawn location for new visitors to your server.

When using /home or /spawn or /work you can choose to have a teleport effect to tell other players they have teleported. Options include Lightning, Ender Signal, Smoke and Flames.

This is a very lightweight plugin, using SQLite to store all data in one compact file.

If players do not have access to /sethome, using any bed will set their /home location.
