About WorldEdit
WorldEdit is an easy-to-use in-game world editor for Minecraft, supporting both single player and multiplayer, that lets you:
- Quickly create, replace or delete thousands of blocks in seconds
- Level an entire mountain and replace it with natural looking terrain (with brush tools)
- Generate spheres, cylinders, cuboids, forests, pumpkin patches, and snowy areas
- Use your compass to quickly teleport to areas by left clicking or using /jumpto
- Choose an area and have it instantly restored from backups
- Copy areas, paste them, load them, and save them as .schematics

Getting Started

These are instructions for Bukkit. If you are on single player or something else, the installation wiki article better serves you.
- Download WorldEdit and extract the WorldEdit.jar file into your "plugins/" folder
- Give out permissions, as per the WorldEdit wiki (give worldedit.* for all).
- Run your server and WorldEdit is installed.

Changes in v5.5.6:
- Updated for Minecraft 1.5.2.
- Pistons can now be rotated with cycler tool.
- Hoppers no longer lose orientation.
- Using //setbiome now respects global biome masks.
- Fixed an issue with certain blocks that had multiple possible TileEntities. (mods only)
- Added console support for /remove command. (removes from ALL worlds).

can someone please tell me how to get it working
Im getting an error that tells me to look in the console... It's really annoying and i can't even use WE...

UPDATED TO 1.4.6 ALREADY? We plan to release an official version very soon, but in the mean time, in order to remove the errors that you are seeing, please update to the latest developer build!

does this conclude any viruses or does it need anything like winrar or anything like that. Ive never downloaded anything for my minecraft so im a little worried
I get a message saying that the blocks dont exist when i try to place ANY blocks down with //set or //walls and similar commands....

I got an error: WE don't know the blocks? If i use //set give WE the error (Or //replace etc...).

how the hell am i supposed to install it on singleplayer?! the wiki said it was compatible with singleplayer!
You have to install either Single Player Commands (not yet updated for MC 1.4 yet) or Single Player Console first. They load WorldEdit because WorldEdit isn't a standalone mod yet.

The current version works on 1.2.5, 1.3.x, and partially on 1.4.x.
Is this compatible with 1.4.2?
Yes, partially. Might not support the new blocks too well but most of it should work.
