Greetings, FireFans!
This time around, we give our AddOn Authors a break and take to exploring one of the infinite slots in our Rhodium Toolbox*, to whit iGear, Linkepedia, and AutoTradeLink. *Yes, Rhodium; let us just say that our Unobtainium Toolbox is awaiting the main ingredient.
iGear, Linkepedia, and AutoTradeLink are all posted with the help of the tools at CurseForge.
iGear is one of the things Tobi mentioned when we spoke to him back in December, adds a quick and easy view, so that you can see the repair status of your equipment and also their enchantment and gem state.

GRDN has also not simply deigned his other AddOns 'feature complete' since last we spoke and has been doing work on nearly all of them. One with new changes is iGuild and iFriends has some new changes coming very soon, so be sure to keep an eye out!
Linkepedia (LeP) is provided by one of our associates over at Norganna's AddOns, GhostFromTexas, and is a continuation of the once-ubiquitous Linkerator, by the amazing Gazzmic Fizzwidget. LeP basically reads, and then watches, for any and all links as they pass through the view of your World of Warcraft client, stores them, and then allows you to pull them up, via the chat frame, when you need them.
In the screenshot, below, we see a 'search' for Frostmourne and LeP lets us know that there are a number of entries, but we can then pick the one we need. In this case, the sword.

AutoTradeLink is a rather nifty AddOn that removes much of what makes 'trade work' a hassle.
Tired of trying to get word out about services you offer, but wary of being reported for spamming? Think someone just asked about your profession, but no longer sure or trying to remember the deal you made with one person or another? Need to get some gold into your coffers?

This sort of thing is just what our friends at Blizzard should be watching; surely how most folks want to find and deal with customers, not some one-size-fits-all 'chat frame'!
That is the last item in the first slot of our Rhodium Toolbox, FireFans, but no need to worry, it does have an infinite number of slots, after all!
As always, we thank the many authors, translators, testers, pack creators, and users who help keep the WoW AddOn Community one of the most vibrant, interesting places to hang out, and look forward to seeing you all soon.
'Into the Fire' is brought to you by Curse. In addition to some other features, we primarily highlight not only the work, but also the people behind it. We do this by inviting some of our AddOn Author friends to bring their AddOns and tell us a bit about themselves and their creations - beckoning them into the fire, if you will. =)
Feel free to contact Nechckn, via site PM, if you have any particular Authors about whom you would like to know more, AddOns you cannot live without, or quirky questions. We will not normally reply to individuals, but will try to include the people and topics you find of interest.
