Welcome to this week’s World of Tanks mod spotlight, this time around we take a look at the Accurate Damage Indicator uploaded by our good buddy Nagatron.
The Mod
You are sitting in a field, tracks firmly placed behind the largest bush you could find, you know the enemies out there… but where? Then boom! Red flashes all over your screen, and the panic sets in!
Your standard damage indicator for WoT gives you a good indication that you’ve been hit and a very general direction of from where, but lacks anything specific to hone in on your attacker. The Accurate Damage Indicator mod updates it in two ways; first it adds a much sharper looking visual so you can clearly see the direction of fire, and secondly it stays on your screen for a much longer duration, allowing you to return the favor.
As you can see from the above screen shot comparisons the difference is huge! The only real trick to the indicators is that it does not accurately display where artillery is firing from, as it counts where the shell lands and not where its fired from. Regradless of that fact, this mod is an absolute must have for anyone that gets shot at. Constantly. Like me. Sad face.

This is one of those mods that makes you wonder why the game isn't like this to begin with.
One of my favorites and a must have, IMO.
