Welcome to the World of Tanks mod spotlight, this week we take a look at the Camera Zoom Mod created by Nagatron.
The Mod
Like in all games, the Camera is one of the most important aspects. It limits your fields of view and has a large effect on your battlefield awareness. In World of Tanks the camera system is fairly rigid, giving little room to take in the big picture or appropriately gauge your situation.
The Camera Zoom mod lifts some of this restriction enabling you to scroll out to the maximum distance allowed. While not game breaking the benefit is enormous, allowing you to do things such as looking around corners easier by swinging the camera out, or angling to get a view of a tank hiding behind obstacles to tell the direction they are facing. As a video maker, this mod enables you to get much better vantage points to record from for creating a sort of tactical view to follow the overall action.
