We previously posted about Mark's first journal, where he also released a video. Now his second journal is out and it's far longer and includes a couple of screenshots. No video this time, though.
Imagine this: you've never watched Lord of the Rings trilogy before, since you live in Antarctica. One day you miraculously find a copy in the...

Mark, resident admin over at AionSource.com has released a journal from his early experiences playing a newbie Asmodian Warrior. He also published a video which is amusing, considering you can’t swim in Aion just yet... so he drowned.
As you can see, the Asmodian side is a lot darker and grim compared to playing Elyos.

The following as been posted by Darkfall developper Tasos Flambouras on the game's official forums:
This is not an update as much as it is checking in with the community. Just to inform you about the sparse updates: they're due to an urgent health problem that landed me in the hospital for a week and I'm still trying to catch up with work.
Our...

Associate Producer Tasos Flambouras does a bit different approach to the dev journals, in the style of a Q&A. He picked various questions from the community as he promised last time. You may also notice that the journal came one week earlier, compensating for the delay last time.
The aspects covered in this journal were quite interesting. Mainly,...

This journal was scheduled for last Friday, but it was delayed. Tasos Flambouras informs us how he almost delayed it this time too, so he only posted a short status update this time and promises a community driven Q&A (like the last few journals) next time. Basically answering questions that were brought up on the official forums General Darkfall...

A delay from both Warcry and me. It seems Warcry was having problems with uploading the latest developer journal, so they only managed to do it this Monday.
Nothing new this time, Tasos tells us about Aventurine being slow in testing the game, while the other development areas are progressing ahead of schedule. He elaborates on universal banking...

Tasos continues on with the biweekly developer journal, and this time he writes a very good article. He has seen certain things discussed on the official forums, so he decided to write about it - mainly the economy, and where the Darkfall servers are going to be located. He discusses other things as well, such as destruction of structures,...

Another biweekly developer journal from Tasos Flambouras on Warcry, nothing especially interesting this time. In this journal, he is discussing how Aventurine is still deciding on whether to self-publish or accepting some of the available publishing options. He also mentions how Asian publishers have offered them the 'free' game plan, making the...

Almost a month has passed since we last read a developer journal on Warcry from Tasos.
This time, Tasos explains about the less cool parts of game development and a QA 'grind' the development team is in at the moment. They seem to be pretty busy with polishing things.

Tasos shows up for another developer journal at warcry, this time with no progress update, but with interesting news. A guy called Asp, from the Lords of Death guild, was on a trip and dropped by Aventurine's offices. Not particularly active on the official darkfall boards, some people remember him from Shadowbane's boards years ago and trust him...

There are two new Developer Journals up on the Chronicles of Spellborn website. One is a Tech Journal written by Maurits "BPMM" Fassaert that covers the "chaos theory" in MMO design.
Inside the development team everyone has an interest in how the game develops as well. Artists want it to be beautiful, but graphics coders want to keep the...
