The Academy of Interactive arts & Sciences gave World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade their Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year award.
WoW: TBC had to compete for this award with The lord of the Rings Online, Eve Online, Tabula Rasa and Guild Wars.

In a post made by Tigole this morning on the Raids & Dungeons forums, he informed everyone that the attunements for Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep: The Eye have been lifted, meaning players can zone in without needing to complete the previously required quests. This is a major change for raiding in TBC, and will no doubt be a welcome one...

Last night, March 11th, Nihilum of the EU realm Magtheridon, defeated Void Reaver - a raid encounter in Tempest Keep: The Eye. This is a world first kill - congratulations on the accomplishment, Nihilum, and good luck on future kills in Tempest Keep and beyond! I came across an interesting thread on the official forums, talking about CC in World of Warcraft, and its impact on PvP(and in some cases even PvE). When is enough really enough?
