About The Jam Pack

The Jam Pack offers a fresh new look to Minecraft. But don't be fooled by the 'simple' part, this is no mere paintbucket-pack. Instead it brings two motifs, or common patterns to the table and uses them to give a unique look not found in anything you've seen before.

Some textures deviate from Minecraft's colour scheme and default textures more than others, like the Blue Netherrack and End Stone, whereas some textures fit naturally with your old projects and make them look even better than before.

Extra Credits: 12squares, for the usage of a modified version of his sand texture.

v0.6:

Updated for Minecraft version 1.3.1/1.3.2 Added new item textures and textures for new 1.3.2 blocks. Sorry, I'll get around to doing the mobs soon, I just don't have ideas on making them unique.

v0.5:

Finally did good armour item textures. Apologies about the previous helmet design, it was horrible. These ones actually look really good now. I also added a bunch of item textures including some partially done tools. All I have left to do is the heads of all of the tools and the hilt of the swords. A few more generic items need to be added, however most of the easy items are done. I found out that it's REALLY tricky to do buckets whilst continuing the style.

v0.4:

Skipped. I continued updating it before I released it.

v0.3:

Again, an Items update. More items done, swords aren't finished completely.

v0.2:

Items have been updated and improved.

v0.1:

The only major things missing in this release are the Mob textures, the Art Textures and custom lighting/environment colours.

Terrible texpack. It makes the world look pretty cool (as seen above), but if you plan on doing anything other than running around enjoying the scenery (like mining, building things, you know, all the things anyone ever wants to do in Minecraft), just install this texture and open your inventory and you'll see what makes this facepunchingly awful. The inventory identifiers are appallingly counterintuitive--most things are identified by goofy little squares that you're supposed to identify based on the pattern of colors. The vast majority don't even resemble what they're supposed to be. So, yeah, if you want to have to learn practically another language to be able to efficiently browse all your inventory just for some pretty scenery, have at it.. Otherwise, move along.
