Recent updates

After a few years break, UltimateCrafter is getting some updates again! There will be a few more small new features in the next days/weeks but nothing major for now (the mod would really need to be rewritten from scratch to make it efficient to implement a lot of new stuff or improve current ones)

About UltimateCrafter options

All options are set on the safest value by default, to prevent anything unwanted to happen if they should ever reset. They can be accessed by clicking the "?" icon on top of the assembly window.
Default options include the "epic protection", that will prevent epic items from being dragged into the disassembly slot. Make sure to disable it if you need to break epic items.

Current Features

  • Disassemble all your spare items in a single click (you can configure the QL, rarity and item type in settings)
  • Upgrading all materials/signets in a single click (you can select the maximum quality to upgrade to in settings)
  • Create patterns in a single click with a drop down menu to select what you want to make
  • Assembly Window improvments: protection for epic items against manual disassembling, automatic augment upgrading, moving toolkits to the right slot if dragged elsewhere, ...

Installation Instructions

  • Extract the Flash\Crafting.swf file into ...\The Secret World\Data\Gui\Customized\Flash
  • To remove the mod, remove the file from that directory
  • If the crafting window doesn't change, a /reloadui might be needed for the game to correctly load the file


  • Fix for an issue with lair fragment names in french client

  • Fixed a bug with 2.0+ AEGIS upgrades not depending on the associated setting

  • Fixed an issue with 10.8 and 10.9 being considered as 10.0 for autobreak
  • Added options to break 10.5 and 10.6 gear (10.3-4 items are always ignored since they're unbreakable NY/Eidolon drops afaik)

  • Renamed some classes to avoid potential future conflicts with other addons

  • Fixed some issues with german/french client
  • Auto-break & Auto-upgrade now show a progress bar with remaining tasks and a stop button to... stop it!

    Hello there is a little problem with the addon, i'm using the french client and i can't create Drinks or Animas.

    When i try it tell me that he can't find "Outils pour consommable" but the right name is "Outils pour consommables", i don't know if it will resolve the bug but i think i had to report it.

    Ty for superb addon! Is there a problem with Blue Mountain Lair bosses? Cause i cant chose anything from "Item" list.

    If you have set the options to prevent bound items from being disassembled and you only have bound items in your inventory then it goes into an infinite loop.

    It loads the same item into the crafting ui over and over again but never does anything.

    In saying that I tried it again just now and it did the loop thing for some time before it disassembled a bound item even though the option was set to not do it.

    Ah thanks for the report, I'll make sure to fix this one. I probably messed up in the inventory scan, it should just skip bound items with that option turned on and never try to put them in the disassembly slot.

    Edit: uploaded a new version to fix that with also some improvment to the protection system (rather than send back the item to inventory, it will just prevent them from being dragged)

    Would it be possible for the mod to detect if the Assembler window is to far to the left on the screen thus opening the options menu to the right instead of the left.

    It's not like i have the UltimateCrafter window all the way to the left, but half the options window is "out of the screen".

    Any chance of a feature to only auto break stuff in main Inventory window OR an option to leave barrier drinks alone?

    For the option window, I'll do that when redesigning the UI (so a bit later). Edit: in fact I was able to add that quite easily, so it will be in 1.3 with the rest

    And no advanced option for now (thinking about a good way to get it done), but I'll try to add the "only break items in main backpack" option in the next version (should be out in a few days)

    bug report: i tried to make 30 barriers last night. without doing anything else but click assemble 10 times, i ended up with 10 barriers out of the 30. so if your making barriers, never click more then 3 at the time, find a spot i your bag, and click again. i lost alot of mats last night, and it sux

    I'll check that, I had just assumed that weird bug was fixed.

    I'm not sure if/how I can work around this one, but I'll remove any option to craft more than 10 consumables at least.

    I had a problem whit dissasembling QL10+ purple\epic items, and i had to completly remove the add on to dissasemble.

    Everything else i chould DA as normal, and i chould assemble as normal.


    Love the mod, just wondred if you where aware about this, even talked to a GM who loged in my character and had no issue dissasembling, and after i removed all the addon files it worked fine.

    There is an option to prevent epics items from being disassembled. I made the choice by have it active by default so those using it couldn't make a mistake after a settings reset.

     I'll see if I can add some FIFO/... message as a feedback when it's the addon preventing a player action (and change the addon description to make it a bit more clear)

    Finished installing the german client files, so should have it done pretty soon now.

    Also, if you're interested in helping to get the mod localized to german, I can certainly use some with the UI translation. If someone can send me a list of the translated texts on the settings window, I could get it in the mod pretty quickly ;)

    Edit: Uploaded a first german test version. Can either get it directly from CurseForge or in the "Other Downloads" on that page when it's approved by Curse staff

    Love this mod!

    Can you add the option to break runes please. I like to keep my runes as base, takes up less bag slots that way :)

    You lose materials when downgrading them (downgrading gives 4 of the lower quality, and you need 5 to upgrade again)

    I'd suggest storing the mats in the quality that you get from your current zone (and in the "end" store them as sacred quality since both drops & disassembling will give you that) and upgrade some to the needed quality when you need to craft something (been thinking about a way to get the mod to do it when pressing "create pattern")
