About DAR Artillery Sight

MeltyMap's Protractor Mod features:
- Minimap enhancement
- Minimap zoom
- 445m spotting circle on MiniMap, with configurable size
- Maximum distance of drawing view box
- Gun Arc Critical Angle rulers
- Gun Constrains lines for MiniMap
- Precise vector strategic cursor for MiniMap
- Gun Direction lines for MiniMap
- Orange alert when battle timer reaches given time amount
- Effective armor calculation for all vehicles
- In-Game real-time clock
- Battle Timer position configurable

To install:
Copy res_modsfolder from archive, paste it to Ur's gamefolder.
Overwrite existing files.

To configure,
Use text editor with UTF8 coding eg. Notepad, Notepad+, AkelPad
Edit following files:

- DAR:
MeltyMapModSetting.xml file in Ur's game\res_mods\0.8.11\gui\scaleform folder

- ProtractorMod:
MeltyMapProtractorSetting.xml file in Ur's game\res_mods\0.8.11\gui\scaleform folder

Attention.
In order to display Effective armor calculation Vehicles have to be programmed in VehicleData section of MeltyMap's Protractor Mod
configuration file, "name" must have same vehicle name as the tank icon name.
Refer to included Vehicle_Names.txt file or comments in bellow of config file.

Attention 2.
Works correct only with Python scripts included with this mod.
Do not overwrite those files with another onesĀ from other mods.

    I am using this with Jimbo's Crosshair mod, but even though I've overwritten BattleTimer.swf, occasionally his traverse indicator will overlap with this one.  Is there a way to fix this relibably?

    Jimbo's crosshair mod uses FragCorrelation.swf for the traverse indicator.

    Yeah there is in the botton right corner it counts down.

    Cursemod is a help for Curse Client so it knows what to, you don't have to instal this when you don't have Curse Client.

    Scripts goes in the 0.8.x folder NEXT to the gui map.

     

    Hope it works for you, correct me if i'm wrong...

    Hello I need help. I've downloaded the mod arty. Please can anyone tell me where I have to do the folder "curseMod" and "scripts". And what curesmod scripts and make them.

    I do not see a place to edit the gun settings for each vehicle and gun as in prior versions. Where is it or is it not possible anymore?

    It is a great mod but in this version the time to target,the gun angle and something below it doesnt work

    First off, thanks for keeping this mod up to date. I have no problems using it with Jimbos reticle. Just don't let Jimbos overwrite the files that DAR uses. The only issue I see is that it is still showing the traverse indicatior in TDs and this is bothering a lot of people. It would be nice to have the option to turn that off.

    Still, great work, and you even made it easier for the user by removing the gun selection(I didn't have a problem with it).

    I'll make a new customizable traverse indicatior in next version. In the meantime, if you want to use other traverse indicator, overwrite BattleTimer.swf file with one in other reticle mod.

    Ok, another update. It should be working completely now. Apparently some of the files for this new version work with the files I usually relate to permanent server ret so the entire package was necessary.

    I'm asking the author to manage this page.
