About Expanded Soundpack
This sound pack adds more realistic cannon/explosion sounds to your game and also allows them to be heard from further away. There will be no mistaking it when artillery lands nearby.
Installation:
1. COPY your entire Audio folder to res_mods/version#/ 2. Drop both files into that new folder and overwrite the existing files.
If you do not copy the rest of your audio files they will not play in game.

Guns and splashes sounds like s***. Only thing i would give a thumbs up is the engin sounds....but allso they could differ more, from tank to tank.
I agree with Xionforever, I don't know how you can say this makes the game sound a lot better. It's horrible, it makes everything sound like a tank game from a 16bit game...
I would not recommend anyone to download this.
I haven't used this since 7.3 or so I think, but when I did it was a significant improvement to the sounds in game. Wargaming has since revamped their sounds IIRC.
These mods dont sound real.They sound like pot shots...Arty splash doesnt sound right either.The Game Sounds are a LOT BETTER!!! IMAO..Don't put the mods in the regular res folder Unless you want to have to download a backup copy of Tanks to get the original sound files...Or If u do want to just make sure to save a copy ogf the original sounds in a place u can find them..GL
Go to World of Tanks directory and open the res folder. you can find the Audio folder there. assuming this is the folder intended to be copied, paste it into the "D:\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.2"
Mine: "D:\World_of_Tanks\res\audio" Copy/Paste to "D:\World_of_Tanks\res_mods\0.7.2"
Unzip/Extract this mod to the same floder you pasted the Audio folder to.
on my Win7 i can open the .zip and Drag/drop or copy/paste the files directly to the destination folder and it decompresses on it's own.
My favorite .zip tool: 7zip It's Free and it just works! Not a plug/add... but i reccomend it!

The sounds are amazing! They add so much to the game. Though, the sound when my StugIII when in sniper mode cuts out. Other than that, they're awesome
I love this soundpack. It makes everything sound much, much nicer and it's really brought the game back to life for me. Thanks for uploading!
