You can still use this mod, but I cannot guarantee you that it will work with future versions of World of Tanks
-v3.7 with the new 0.7.4 format. The FH2 vehicle sounds are discontinued as the new on I made, that you can find here, sounds and works much better.
So I've gone throgh some hard times in my life right now. That's why I temporaliy removed the post.

Have you ever wanted some sounds which "packs a punch"?
Well, then you've come to the right place!
I have spent some time adding some sounds from the Forgotten Hope 2 sound library to WoT's library, with some quite good results!

-Removed vehicle sounds.

-Added some more combat music.
-Added new base-capture sirens with the american radio-message from FH2 when a friendly flag gets neutralized! There are no siren sounds from FH2, so I used clips from YouTube to make them. I used THIS video and THIS video.
-Major tweak of the transmission system! There are now more gears, and the transmission is much longer!
-Added a new song to the music: Before the Storm, from Battle of Brest!
-Added some ambient distant sounds like gunfire, flak, explosion and a C-47 Skytrain flying above your head!(NOTE#1:The sound of the Skytrain will not be directional so you will hear it coming from the same direction of the speaker no matter which direction you are facing. NOTE#2: These sounds is only played from the Music bank, so muting the music will also mute these sounds)
-Included in the GUI sounds are also a sound played when the gun is reloaded.
-Updated the Panther engine sound to the transmission system.
-Added the login background from FH2 into WoT's login background!(The image will, for some reason, look too small in resolution, even though it's 1680x1280. :Smile_amazed:
-I'm not sure if there's more. :Smile-hiding:
-Added ambient sounds!
-Major tweaks of vehicles, weapons and hits. Tiger transmission is still not working properly, but it should sound better.
-Lowered volume of vehicle(Sherman is overdone) to make ambient sounds and music more audiable.
-You can hear a battle going on in the distant now!
-Added new Tiger engine as an alternate sound.
-Added transmission system for the Tiger. Doesn't always work as intended though.
-Minor tweaks of engines and tracks.
-Added tracer sound!
-Updated the Sherman
-The bug with music not being played will be fully removed in the upcoming FH2 music pack. This does, however, not mean the bug is eliminated for you.
-Minor tweaks on vehicles, hits and weapons.
-The big with the countdown-timer being muted is gone now!(ok, it's still there in some maps(Province)(If you have music enabled you will experience a very short mute when the map has loaded. Crew voices still stutters. :Smile_sad:
-Minor tweaks of hit sounds and vehicles.
-Major and minor tweaks of hit sounds, engines and tracks. If you don't hear the tracks now you're obviously deaf. :Smile-tongue:
-Partially removed the bug where the music won't play at countdown.
-Refined(finaly) the hit sounds!

-Added an option to chose between Sherman or PzIV sounds.
-Tweaked the volume of the vehicles and tracks.
-Minor tweaking of tracks.
-Tweaked the engine sounds of the heavies/high tier tanks.
-Fixed the error with the tracks.(High-tiers used low-tier track sound, and vice versa)
-Tweaked the volume of the tracks.
-Added vehicle sounds. I cannot grant you that they will be perfectly balanced in volume.
-Replaced the trace sound with something less annoying, as it didn't seem to work.
-The sounds have gotten an overhaul, and sounds less "crispy" at longer ranges!
-Tried to add tracer sounds similar to the mortar sound from FH2. I'm not quite sure if it works properly all the time.
-Added reloading sound, although you shouldn't rely on it.
-Fixed a quite obvious typo in the sound bank. The "large_fire" was incorrectly named "heavy_fire", and thus caused sounds fromm 88mm guns etc. to not be played.
-Added installation instructions. I forgot to add it... :Smile-hiding:
