About HR Gun Sound Mod

A World of Tanks sound mod that I have put alot of effort and time into.

I features:
-Alot of new gun sounds (some even dedicated to a single specific gun) thanks to scripts.
-The gun sounds differs very much from a close to long range, creating an atmospheric and authentic experience.
-New sounds of shell traces, from the supersonic bullet crack of a 20mm bullet to the "freight train" of a 155mm shell flying above you.
-Sounds of guns reloading in sniper mode. Autoloaders have their very own sound.
-Custom explosion and hit sounds, depending on the projectile's caliber.
-5.1 and 7.1 support!

Some known bugs/issues:
-It may lag at some times when tanks gets spotted or dies

noticed somethign odd. when i install your mod because it adds so much more to the game, there seems to be an issue displaying the marks of excellence on the gun barrels. issue is it doesnt display them even when settings has them turned on. they show up fine when i deleted the mod and vanished again when i reinstalled.  I say its odd because its a sound mod affecting graphics.

amx ac 46 missing gun fire sound but rest so far are awsome great job :)

  • #191

i just want the 155mm what i can do for it?

  • #190

i am missing a gun sound on this gun: Gun Q.F. 4.5-in. Howitzer. all my tanks that have this canon mounted has no shot sound.

It seems there's a problem in the v1.941 release with the Alecto. At the beginning of the match if you shot not in sniper mode you hear the sound, but soon after the sound disappears and there's no way to hear it no more.

  • #188

This mod must really be included by default in the game ! So awesome.

  • #186

there is some problem with current version 1.94

it seems one the two file( gb28_bishop.xml and gb26_birch_gun.xml) will cause you stuck at screen of loading battle(if therr is any bishop or birch in this round)

not quite sure about weather there are anyother problem like this

  • #187

The Bishop shouldn't be affected by this at all as I have played with it on my team, and even played as one.

The Birch Gun has been adressed, and I will upload patch 1.941 now.

come on give them some time to update this mod the new patch as only just came out,,,, love the gun sounds and engine sounds

  • #184

Can you update it to 9.1 plz? i still prefer these sounds over the new one's :p

  • #183

Sorry but for me it is :
    - too loud, but this is not the main problem
    - there is toooo much resonance. Shot sounds are too long, when a group of tanks fire at the same time, you only get a continuously "rolling thunder" noise that sound like an artillery barrage. It seems fine at first but later it become annoying.
  • #182

can you please update your mod? The Micro Patch ruined it -.-'

  • #181

This mod should be added into the main game. Great job!

  • #180

    macnificent

  • #179

I want to take a moment to tell you how much I have enjoyed your sound update to world of tanks guns and engines. The instructions were easy to follow and me and all of my clan mates have updated our game with your sound mods. I never realized what a diffrence a great sound package could add to an aready fun game. Your hard work is really appreciated.

Thanks again, and I'm looking forward to future creations.
