About J1mB0's Crosshair Mod

Original one was by marsoff.
Redesigned, optimized it and added various other very useful things.

Main feature is reload timer and angles for Artillery and Tank Destroyers.

Two aim circles increase ability to hit the target without aiming fully if used correctly.
Outer circle covers 100% of all hits and inner circle covers 68% of all hits.

Custom ingame settings translation available optionally in various languages made by fans.

- Copy the "res_mods" folder to:

- Optional* Copy and replace the "crosshair_panel_strategic.swf" you want from the "optional\ arty\ type" folder to:
"\World of Tanks\res_mods\version\gui\scaleform"

- Optional* Copy and replace the CROSSHAIR_SNIPER.SWF you want from the "optional\ aim\ type" folder to:
"\World of Tanks\res_mods\version\gui\scaleform"

- Make a backup of "" in:

- Copy the "res" folder to:

    killernight, go to this path,   C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods  you can copy and past this into your browser.  Find the folder 8.2 and delete it.  Go to your downloaded J1mB0's Crosshair Mod file and double click it.  It will open in a window and it will ask you where to extract the file to.  Enter this path in the top field.  C:\Games\World_of_Tanks\res_mods  Say ok and let it work a second, it should not take any longer.  Once you do that you are done. I can't think of an easier way to explain this.  Please note, following these simple instructions will erase any other mods you may have installed at this time.

    I have had this addon before 8.2 Now i have done everything you have said under Installation and it still not working at all on my comp . I have read most comments tried some of their ideas still not workin . Any advice would be greatful why it wont work for me at all now.

    not sure which mod it is... but J1mB0's is working fine on a clean install alone, there is a conflict with another MOD and Tanks. its not J1mB0.

    I agree, it is likely a nother mod that is making your game fail.  I had several mods running for the old version and just dumped them into the 8.2 folder.  When i tried to go into battle, it loaded as normal, but would not enter the battle, it just sat there.  I copied my current 8.2 folder to the desktop and deleted the contents of the one in my game folder.  i slowley started adding the mods back starting with xvm full (updated as well), next was jimbo's and that works as well.  I am moving onto the others but i think they will fail as they have more to do with the maps.  My suggestion is start with a clean 8.2 folder and add them one by one.

    At this point not working for me in 8.2 ... deleted debug file made no difference.


    UPDATE it is now working ... deleted all other folders except 8.2 mod .. i had previous versions in there.

    I just downloaded and installed. It is working fine for me in version 8.2 i would love to see a description of the difference between the 'arty' modes ie normal vs shell travel time and full, vs lite and med. Guess I will just have to try them all, which one is the default?

    ive tried to do most things others have said to do but it wont work for me either

    Hope a fix is sorted soon as i so hate the orginal cross hair and NO timer....

    ok what i noticed in the folder of  res_mods is the folder 0.8.2 in this was nothing so i made a folder called gui and in that i created another folder called flash.

    I then copied and pasted the new 8.2 files i got from the offical forums page under gameplay disscusion...however for some reason i cant find the page anymore spooky maybe its been deleted by admins as it had a link for 8.2 jimbo cross hair on it anyway im gutted for everyone that i cant provide that link maybe someone on here can as my mod is working pretty much perfect....just notcing a sound bug but i can live with that for now might be just something to do with the latest patch?

    Sorry i cant be more helpful ppl but it IS working and IS compatible...just need the zoom out mod to be updated and hey ho im all GOOD

    not compatable with 8.2 game version. i like it very much but i cant use it now becouse game crach when loading. please fix it .

    Yes it works, you have to delete the "DebugPanel" file... In the Wot\res_mods\0.8.2\gui\flash... folder

    After installing 8.2 I found no "debug" file anywhere in the Wot\res_mods\0.8.2\gui\flash.


    For some reason my keyboard locks up not allowing the use of the WASD or number keys. I only have this mod and the Map Zoom mod.  Doing a total reinstall of all and will just do this sight mod to see if it works for me then.

    I wish they would lay off these minor updates for a while. It's a nightmare sorting out all the mod problems every few weeks.

    Found out the problem is with the "Zoom Mod". Everyone is having problems that has tried to reinstall the mod after 8.2    This mod works fine with 8.2
