About Permanent Serverside Reticle
This modification enables the old server reticle at the same time as your normal one. Make sure you have server reticle turned ON in your settings and they'll both show up.
Installation:
Move the 'gui' and 'scripts' folders contained into the most recent mods folder you have and press the 'merge' button.
- OR -
1. Manually install 'gun_marker_blue.dds' to "res_mods\version#\gui\maps\ingame\aim"
2. Manually install 'control_modes.pyc' to "res_mods\version#\scripts\client\AvatarInputHandler"
You can alter which crosshair you are using. For more options look at "crosshair_catalog3.jpg"
If you should desire to change the stock server reticle pick the one you want in the catalog, find it in its folder and relabel it to: "gun_marker_blue.dds"
After that install it to the same place as #1.
Make sure you have server reticle turned ON in your settings

Please update, this was a great mod especially for those with high pings of high FPS.
I get the same thing, no sniper mode at all on any vehicle. This is the only mod I had loaded and when I remove it the problem is gone. I hope this gets updated it really helps on arty as well as hitting scouts better.
It now does not allow you to zoom into Sniper mode in 8.5. I removed all mods and only installed this one.
I have this problem aswell. How do I fix it?
It messes up the zoomout, useless mod in this state
I removed zoom out because it is banned and will be banned.
If you need zoom out, use previous avatar_input_handler.xml file and find camera.pyc file for arty zoom out.
Does this work for 8.4?
Hi. I am not quite sure, but I believe that this is the mod which causes all my tracers to dissappear - enev artillery ones. Do you think that you could look into it?

in my mod by mod testing i found that it is zoom mods that makes tracers dissapear
i tested
all kinds of mods dmg panels sights for arty and sniper from the wide selections i tested it was only when installing a zoom mod that my tracers whent bye bye just when i found a special zoom mod with four zoom levels instead of the normal three bugger
i dont use server sight anymore so i didnt test it but it might also make tracers go bye bye
No tracer bug is not caused by this mod. It happens when you use zoom mod for 0.8.2. Find appropriate camera.pyc file for 0.8.3.
I took your tip into consideration and did some testing. It sadly turns out that camera.pyc is the problem. Thank you for pointing that out to me.
I downloaded it on 12/18/2012 and it is working correctly for me now.
This mod seems to glitch and go in to a kind of super zoom. You can barely see anything and you cant zoom out to see your tank so you cant drive effectively.
After this I'm geting stuck on Battle Start screen. Removing the mod makes everything OK
Not working, game starts then closes. Any suggestions?
Only other mod I have loaded is Jimbo
