About TrapSense
This mod will replace your standard Sixth Sense indicator bulb with one featuring Admiral Ackbar and his famous line.
-Made using the battle.swf file from XVM
Installation:
Drop the 'gui' folder into your most recent res_mods\version# folder.

Manually install the contained 'battle.swf' file to res_mods\version#\gui\flash

the sound dose nto seem to work is there soemthign im doign wrong or is there no sound any more man cause that made my laugh my ass off every time hearing that ugly asss fish's voice
Doesn't work in 8.2.Whenever I try to enter the game it stucks at the loading screen before starting the match.Basically I have to remove the battle.swf to get back into the game.
Fixed. It was an old .swf file.
It never had a sound. Trust me, as funny as it might be a few times, you'd want it gone pretty quickly.
Well,I can enter the game now but when the six sense activates, it shows the image but no sound.
is there any way to make this mod not dependant on the XVM? to somehow replace the light bulb with the Ackbar icon so it doesn't have to be updated every time new XVM is released.
or is the light bulb hardcoded into the battle.swf and there is no way around it other than updating battle.swf every time?
I should be able to pair it with my XVM config to achieve what you're discussing. I haven't crawled the config file lately to update it since I've been busy, but I did see an update from them about being able to replace Sixth Sense from outside the file.
Unfortunately if I do that, and you aren't using my XVM config, you'll have to edit your config manually. When I get around to updating that I'll put instructions in the description.

I don't always keep 100% up to date with XVM, but they rarely change their battle.swf from what I've seen so it should work all the same most of the time.

Thanks for having the forethought to use the battle.swf from the XVM Mod... makes life easier.
You really need to find a way to have the sound clip play with the icon...... for nothing else other than just plain amusment!!!!!!!!!
