About WOT Statistics

WOT Statistics will allow you to monitor your progress in World Of Tanks. It will show you detailed information regarding your statistics. You can easily see which area's you need to focus on to make improvements in your game. WOT Statistics will update after every battle showing you the results. It also has a built in efficiency calculator which updates after every game.

The application supports FTP uploads, which means that clans leaders/commanders can track their players stats after every battle.

    Hi all,

Regarding previous posts, I too had to install other software prior to this installation, namely MS NET Framework 4.0 and the respective updates that followed. After all of them installed i installed this app, ran it, and got some error i can't remember... Easily fixed by rebooting (had not done that after the NET FW4 installation).

Regarding the program itself, it's usefull and interesting, more so when you start comparing your stats to those of your friends.

I only have 2 suggestions to the manager of this app:

    1) Like previously said by other user, it would be great if a currency stats tracking could be added (dont know if possible at all), so we could compare incomes for each tank, profit/debt, across tiers, etc, etc.

    2) Parallel to the "Dossier File Sharing" by FTP and the "Retrieve from FTP" option for friends dossiers, it would be awesome if another option was added for the app to simply upload it to a specific folder on the user PC.

Example: Me and some of my friends have Dropbox installed and share a common folder, eg. "WoT_Dossiers". I may use the "add Dossier" function to go get my friends Dossiers from the Dropbox shared folder, eg. "D:\Dropbox\WoT_Dossiers\  ...". For these Dossiers to be always updated, the "Dossier File Sharing" should be able to auto update my own dossier to that specific folder.
If all our PCs did the same, we would always be checking/comparing the most recent Dossier from each other.

With these 2 addons (the number 2 is prioritary in my opinion), I believe WOT Statistics will become a must have program across the entire WoT community ;)

Edit: I found a bug on the "Recent battles" page with "Compare to tank stats" activated, on the "Tank Damage Received Avg." section. If my average damage received is, let's say 500hp, and on battle # i get only 200hp damage on my tank, i.e. -300 than the average, this number should be green instead of the current red ;)

    Regards.
    David

There's some nice upgrades that must be really put in thought...

I totally agree with the possibility to automatically copy the file to a specifically folder. The incomes would be nice to track, to see which are the most profitable or the credit destroyers xD

well, i give up.  followed the instructions on how to setup a player, myself, played a few games and nothing is showing up in the stats, all 0's.  clicked refresh, nothing, been through the entire help file, nothing.  in addition, the online analyzer does not work at all.  i have the box checked in setup, but the button on the toolbar is grayed out.  been screwing around with this for hours, i am through.

can you add a field for curreny?  I like to see which tanks are making me money and which ones I am loosing the farm on.  I can play a high tier tank and go broke

I've been getting the same problems pdarko78 gets when accessing both the "Charts" and "Custom Groupings" sections: "An item with the same key has already been added."

They worked the first time I palyed with the features but since then, nothing.

It'd be nice if the developer would respond to some of the comments.

Some real issues with this program. I'll add mine to the three pages of comments already here.

After I installed it, attempting to run the program on W7x64 would produce nothing. Checked task manager and saw it tried to start and then crashed silently.

Tried running the stats-reset tool per the FAQ, which also crashed with an error. Apparently it couldn't find the user.xml file in ..\users\appdata\roaming\WOT Statistics...because the folder was never created. I manually created the folder. Still crashed, so I moved the user.xml file from the installation directory there. Main program still wouldn't start, but after running the stats-reset tool again (which now works) now the main program starts. Why isn't this folder and file created during installation? Why isn't it created the first time the game is run? At the very least, why isn't there any visible error produced so the user doesn't have to hunt for the problem?

Another thing. In the Setup menu, any changes on an individual page aren't preserved when changing pages. You have to click Apply on every page for the changes to save. This is not standard behavior for applications and should be changed.

The Start and Stop items in the Dossier Monitor dropdown should show a checkmark next to the selected item, regardless of the little colored 'light' in the corner.

Clicking the Compare item in the dropdown box produces two columns on each side of the window which cannot be removed, even when going back to the overview screen. This is irritating as these columns take up a lot of screen real estate.

The customized "skin" of the program is okay, but I'd rather have the standard Windows-style look. Having the ability to change it would be better.

This is after two minutes of trying the software--I'm sure I'll find more problems as I use the program. It seems like a handy tool but it's rather poorly coded and needs a lot of work. The installation issues where it doesn't drop the necessary files and folders really needs to be addressed...I'm sure there've been many users who gave up rather than examining Event Viewer to identify the problem like I did.

    crashes when it starts...

    Good Idea, bad programmed.

There are so many users, who dont get it started - including me - by the fail programming, that i will not try it any more

I tried using the WOTstats.Reset.exe however it asks for me to register for the Microsoft Visual C# Express, a bit tedius just for a mod don't you think? Fix this please and I will try it again(It crashes when I try to open the original exe file, so tried your fix and that popped up).

Just installed this... tried to start it up and windows said "WOT_Dossier has stopped working". This was my first attempt at running it and all later attempts have also failed. Any Ideas?
