Hello, I'm having some trouble with XVM and I hope you can help. I'm running XVM on windows 7 without any problem, however, when I switch to windows XP on the same computer, while the battle maps are loading I always get: "Unknown command: \@GET_VERSİON" error in XVM window and as expected XVM doesn't work. I thought this might be .NET or Dokan related problem so I uninstalled both and reinstalled them again with no luck. Do you have any suggestions?

    This version is outdated.
You can wait until the file will be approved on this site, or download from the developer's site.

Havin' some trouble, as well; although the mod promises to be valuable (or, at a bare minimum, interesting) I can't get it to display any information except the version information in the top left corner.

Edit: Statistics and chances are all I cannot get the mod to show.  I've installed the library, turned off the alternate ports on Skype and rebooted my PC twice.

I've tried editing my own config file, as well as using some of the samples, but still receive nothing.

In addition to XVM, I run POGS contour and Over Target Markers; are there incompatiblity issues with either of those?

1.This mode is not compatible with the OTM as well change the same files
    2. Server statistics are often overwhelmed
    3. note-does not give a wot-xvm-proxy.exe error messages

Thanks, Slow Pony!  going to strip out OTM and give it another swing.

By the way, I love what I've gotten to work so far!  having current HP and current % of HP side-by-side has helped me satisfy personal curiousity.

What are the meaning of the colored player icons such as brown, blue, green, black, etc.  It seems that these are the player ratings but without a guide to the colors, it is a guess as to what they mean.

  • #5

    the default colors:

    • middle panel of players: efficiency
    • second middle panel: efficiency
    • large panel of players: winning percentage and efficiency

    screenshots from the online generator

If not hard, do please a screenshot of the "stars".

  • #9

Hi Slow Pony, you cleared up most of my questions or misunderstandings.  However, my comment about the "stars" was my best guess as to what them meant.  They would show up on the tanks that I had done well with but not with the ones that I had done poorly with or maybe didn't have enough experience to rate it.  I am in a clan thus if the "star" was to represent a clan, the star should show up on ALL of my tanks!  Maybe I don't have the program installed right thus the "stars" are incomplete loadings of what the symbol really is?

    Thanks for your clarifications!

I particularly like the "stars" that indicate the player has achieved a Master Gunner status. Watch out for that guy

maybe you mean the icon of the clan?

One questions leads to another, what are the meanings of the numbers in the left column of each panel?

the total number of fights (in thousands)

It appears that there may be choices of panels to display (efficiency, win rate, or a combination of both), how can a choice be made and installed in XVM? Finally, can a player modify the colors to something more suitable to their tastes?

    1.  You can use ready-made configuration files from xvm-doc\samples\User configs
    2. You can use the online generator  statistic form-text fields formats
    3. You can edit configuration file manually by opening a text editor (using as an example  xvm-doc\samples\Full config EN\XVM.xvmconf  )

in the latter two cases, you will need the macros described in  xvm-doc\readme-en.txt

My final comment, after using the panels for a couple of dozen games is this; The stats are interesting to see prior to the "chute opening" (rodeo term) for viewing your status in the game line up and what MM has come up with for a "proper mix" but once the gears are in motion, I am not looking at the stat board anymore nor does it affect who I am going to shoot at!

Statistics in the markers of the tanks? this is in the configurations xvm-doc\samples\User configs\rreeedd\ XVM.xvmconf     and     xvm-doc\samples\User configs\SFxz\ XVM.xvmconf

    Good job!

I am not the author of this mod. Acknowledgements, requests, bug reports can be placed on the official forum of this mod.

Just too inconsistent to be of any use.  Seemed to work ok prior to 7.3; then it was hit or miss and now some components work, others don't.  Developer needs to polish it up a bit and/or fix their issues with their proxy server, methinks.

  • #1

For some reason the in-game stats and win percentage isn't working for me.

I'm running it through the proxy and everything

  • #2

This is often the problem is probably due to the high load on the proxy server.
