About WoW style XVM

This is a full XVM configuration designed to make efficiency colors WoW alike. Player efficiency will be colored with the World of Warcraft's default quality (rarity) ratings, like below:

    Thanks for the info shakuray.
It seems vertical positioning is not working as intended.

  • #102

The hitlog should be on bottom-left corner, next to tank overview regardless of screen resolution. Like this:

However, it seems there's a bug related with full-screen, preventing hitlog to be displayed in wrong place depending on screen resolution. You can try to switch off fullscreen mode to see if that's the case.

We're working on a fix, and will add a Hit-Logless alternative config soon.

both tested, and still cant see the hitlog on 1366x768 resolution.

EDIT: It seems the Hitlog has compability issues with DAR artillery Sights. I Need someone to confirm.

EDIT 2: I can see the hitlog using 1920x1080 fullscreen, but not using 1366x768 window.  :/

EDIT 3: Fixed the hitlog position on 1366x768 resolution. Just changed the Y position from -5 to -250, now I can see it as I could with 1920x1080 resolution :)

It seems there's a problem related with XVM 3.0.3 relase. You can download missing files from here.
    Have fun!

Can you please tell me which line in xvm config defines the colours of efficiency for names above tanks during battle? It should be somewhere in the "markers" area.

  • #93

    Line 1222 to 1228 in default XVM.xvmconf
Alternatively you can use the online editor.

Is there a way to change the path that "wot-xvm-proxy.exe" checks for the WorldOfTanks.exe?

I do not have my WoT installed on C:\ and as such, I get the following message in the CLI when attempting to start WoT from the proxy:

    "WoT XVM Proxy v3.0.2.22487
System.Exception: Game start file not found: WorldOfTanks.exe
           at wot.Program.Main(String[] args)

    Press any key to exit"

Thank you for your time and have a nice day,

You have to copy XVM files into your World of Tanks folder, like "X:\Games\World of Tanks\wot-xvm-porxy.exe", then you can make a shortcut to your desktop.

    Have fun!

    Thank you very much! Laughing

Is there anyway to set up this so I can see the difference between ally dmg and mine ? Like it was originally that mine dmg was colored in yellow

  • #87

Very useful idea! I will try to find out how it can be done. Is it implemented on any other XVM config or available as standalone mod?

  • #98

The feature is implemented in WoW Style XVM version 1.6 which is available to download now!
    Have fun!

Would love this too :P I like using the Icons and healthbar that come with WOW XVM but want to change my damage colour to a different one that allies!
