Hi guys, I found a solution to make it work.

Open xvm-stat.exe.config with Notepad then go to the line <setting name="Timeout" serializeAs="String">

    and replace <value>10000</value> by <value>20000</value>

    Works for me so far.

    Have fun.

     Hello,

i really like the colour concept of this WOW Style XVM, It's a lot better than all the other colourful xvm mods where the game looks more like a paintball area.

But i'm missing one thing to really make it perfect.

I've seen it in another mod and its named Capture Bar. It shows how many enemies/allies are in the cap circle and how much time is remaining until they take the base over. Is it possible to add it to this mod ?

If you give me instructions i would do it myself if you don't have the time.

    greets

    Marco

Thank you very much for the feedback Marco.
We allready implemented that. You just have to update your config file and XVM files.

That's intended, however we're going to add it back in following updates.

may i know what is the differents of the colors? like purple? and the different between common and uncommon? thx

  • #109

The colors are implication of World of Warcraft's item quality scheme. In World of Tanks with XVM mod, colors represent how good a player is, on a scale from grey to gold, while grey meaning worst, and gold is the best.

You can see player's efficiency ratings on loading and tab screens, that number determines their colors, basically how good they play.

I have been trying to get this add on to work. All the required files are downloaded and installed. I run into problems on this step:

Download WoW style XVM and add XVM.xvmconf file into World of Tanks\res_mods\[game version]\gui\flash\

All I have is World of Tanks\res_mods\0.8.1 ... I see no \gui\flash\ file anywhere. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

  • #108

Just extract the xvm-3.1.1.zip (which is downloaded from here) into game directory, it will be created automatically. If you allready done that but the folders aren't there, you must be extracting it to wrong place. If you wish, you can create and name the folders manually, then add the file(s).

You also need to download xvm-stat-1.0.1.zip and extract it into root game folder, or place it's contents manually if you didn't done yet.

To sum up: you would be downloaded 3 zip files in total, 1 downloaded from this page and 2 from XVM development portal. We wish to make everything available to be downloaded just in one file but curse politics restraints us to do so...

It shouldn't cover your chat, try redownloading and updating your xvm-stat.exe. It should hopefully solve your problem. Also you can use HitLogless alternative configuration located in WoW style XVM 1.6.2\Without Hit-Log\XVM.xvmconf within zip file.

  • #111

Got it- I must have had a bad download, everything is working now. Is there a way to move the hit log? I have tried editing and merging the y axis but it stubbornly remains covered by incoming chat!

  • #99

The only problem I have with this mod is that I cant see the Hitlog. its nowhere on my screen :/

  • #100

You also need to update your XVM to latest version.

  • #104

    Thanks for the info shakuray.
It seems vertical positioning is not working as intended.

  • #102

The hitlog should be on bottom-left corner, next to tank overview regardless of screen resolution. Like this:

However, it seems there's a bug related with full-screen, preventing hitlog to be displayed in wrong place depending on screen resolution. You can try to switch off fullscreen mode to see if that's the case.

We're working on a fix, and will add a Hit-Logless alternative config soon.
