About WoW style XVM

This is a full XVM configuration designed to make efficiency colors WoW alike. Player efficiency will be colored with the World of Warcraft's default quality (rarity) ratings, like below:

NOTE: After you install this mod,you MUST go to XVMMOD.COM, sign in and then select Activate Statistics to see any player statistics. If you have already done this, disregard

Originally developed by LrdStudio, due to real life obligations was no longer able to keep it updated on a timely basis. He requested and I agreed to assume author responsibility. Alternate Views:

Press the ALT key to get:

  • Alternate Minimap View
  • Extended OTM
  • Enemy HP Remaining in Hitlog
  • Players Panel in Mdium View

Press BACKSPACE to get: Minimap Zoom view (moved from CTRL)

Press ALT+BACKSPACE to get Alternate Minimap Zoom

Alternate Minimap shows vehicle, player rating (vehicle win% color), tier, lost vehicle, and dead vehicles

Installation

  • Now includes current XVM files
  • Download WoW style XVM from this page.
  • Extract all downloaded files into the game folder. (Merge the res_mods folder from the zip file to your World of Tanks folder.)
  • Run the game as usual.

    That is intended. They have the lowest impact on battle because most of them usually suicide or doesn't do anyhting at all.

    or editing 1222th line in XVM.xvmconf       { "value": 600,  "color": "0x828282" },   just replace the 828282 color hex code with your desired color code.

    Thanks!!, I changed the grey and blue, as they correlated with D/C and TeamKiller colors, this pretty much made the color scheme not so blurry as well. Thanks for the info!

    Last couple of days I have not been able to get players stats (just win%) this is the content of the DOS window. Is this a temporary problem? TX

    Only thing i don't get is why in the TAB screen it only shows the symbol of the tank, i want it to say the name and tier... can tha be changed in with the xvm config file?

    Thanks for the feedback tkaudi! Tab screen currently shows, player names, tank icons, statistical info. Due to recent changes in game, tiers and tank names are removed. However we will add them back when it's possible.

    Sometimes it works, meaning in battle information comes up and sometimes info does not desplay. during game the information is not there and in the next game it is.

    When it's there GREAT MOD!!

    BTW I put the XVM.xvmconf in the World of Tanks\res_mods\0.7.5\gui\flash\

    That's a connection issue. When lots of players enters battle at the same time, XVM's servers can't handle it and some part of the players can't get statistical info. Developers are aware of the issue.

    The colors you use make the icons blurry, gives me a headache. What you should do, is make a UI, so that the individual can make it to his/her own likeing.

    I.E. - color, icons, how much info and where.

    Is there anyway to get this mod without winning % at loading screen?

    It's a really unique feature of this mod and we don't think to remove or hide it. However you can easily remove it yourself.
    1- Open XVM.xvmconf with Notepad or WordPad.
    2- Replace two instances of the following code: "showChances": true, to "showChances": false, (ctrl+H might be helpful)
    3- Save it and it's done!

    Yes it's possible but little bit tricky since XVM comes with an integrated Over Target Markers. I will try to add this as an alternative version in the following updates. Thanks for the feedback!
