About BijiPlates

Strain patch: the occlusion toggle works again - If you're seeing nameplates through objects it's because you have occlusion disabled.

Play a Medic?: Check out Medicate.

BijiPlates is a nameplate replacement add-on that shows separated health and shield bars instead of the default in-line style. By default, the occlusion is turned off. This allows you to see nameplates through walls and other objects that should obstruct them. You may turn it on through the settings page (/BijiPlates), although the api function that handles this is currently bugged for many players.

Features: (Check the images tab for screens of features and settings)

  • Display settings for different unit types (neutral, friendly, friendly player, hostile, hostile player).
  • Color settings for names and bars.
  • Info text (hp, sp, lvl, interupt armor).
  • Nameplates fade out for friendly chat bubbles.
  • Buff / Debuff display above plates. (Do not recommend using, very resource heavy.)
  • Hook into TrackMaster to draw a line to your weapon when subdued/disarmed. (image)
  • Tank Options
    • Threat alert: Icon when a unit is not targeting you.
  • Healer Options
    • Cleanse alert: Icon when a target has a cleansable debuff on them.
    • Only show health bars when damaged (below 95% of health + shield).
  • Different styles:
    • SAO: Inspired by the anime series Sword Art Online.
    • Flat: Simple square edged bars.

Support: Check out my android game, Brick'um. It's a free breakout style game with no adds, no purchases, and requires no permissions.

I decided not to buy the game, so I cannot continue to work on the add-on as I can not do any sort of testing outside of the game. CasstielCupcake has offered to take over with any emergency updates, and I'm open to adding any contributors that are interested working on it. -(slowseer) (Forum Post)

Updated to API version 9.

can you make it so you can target by clicking on nameplate? would be very helpfull in pvp

  • #667

I keep seeing people say use the OptiPlates version now instead.

So is BijiPlates being updated and fixed or should I switch to OptiPlates?

  • #670

Not by me, but it looks like Aukmoo has been pretty active in updating it recently, and his last update was only 11 days ago.

  • #663

Is it possible for your Target to have a different settings? either other color bar or bigger bar?
this would be very helpfull in PvP when i have the enemy moxie carrier targeted

I'm a healer and I'm having some issues with Cleanse. I have the Cleanse alert option enabled but I never see any kind of warning on the nameplates (over people's heads) or the group window. Where is this magic display shown? No screenshots of it in evidence, and wondering if it's linked with some other option in order to make it work.

  • #668

Okay, I can see the Cleanse alert; it's a tiny orange ball on the right end of the healthbar. Is there any way to make that bigger so I can, you know, see that in combat without making the nameplates HUGE?

Love the addon, a must-have for playing Wildstar. But I would like to see a possibility to put class icons besides the nameplate.

I know there is an addon for just doing that called INFOPLATES ( ), but the problem is Bijiplates covers it when showing debuff icons on the nameplates.

Just wondering if this new api 9 version contains the "performance improvement changes" from Baerdurid?

  • #665

    I don't think so.

3.1 may only be an update to the toc.xml file (Table of Contents) to indicate that the addon supports API version 9.

this new version of bijiplates gives me very small but frequent stutterlag, like a tiny rubberband effect every 5seconds or so

  • #658

The author of the addon bailed? Well doesn't that just stink :( Has anyone taken over complete control of its development?

  • #657

Great improvement so far. I would like to see one change though. Could you display target plates even with the "no nameplates in thayd" setting?

  • #656

Can u add some options for healing plz?
Such as highlight friendly frame with dispel. debuff. And some visual select on targeted nameplates (for easy view of tank nameplate in raid) - mb make that nameplate bigger, add some borders, make that nameplate be always infront against other nameplates.

  • #655

After adjusting the settings I was able to get exactly what I wanted for my nameplates. One exception, I would love to see an 'in combat' option for the Target settings as well. For example, as a healer I don't want to see much more than the health/shield bars on my target while in combat, but normally (out of combat) I want to see all info on my target.

I really like that there's also support for flat bars. I like the design of the other ones, but flat serves me better as a healer.

    Thanks for making this!
