Sales Director, East Coast

Curse seeks an East Coast Sales Director to drive territory revenue in the non-endemic games marketplace. The Sales Director will have ownership of the East Coast sales territory and will be entirely dedicated to driving long term success. The ideal candidate is a highly experienced and proven sales leader with a robust non-endemic focused network. We are looking for someone that can make a significant impact on day one by having the ability to build, negotiate and close large (complex) ad deals. You have the skills to lead, motivate and gain the respect of clients and your team. A leadership position in sales at Curse is not just selling - it is expected that everyone at the company will contribute to making Curse better. Leaders on our sales team will be involved in various company initiatives such as marketing, branding, product, culture, hiring, site layout, site design, etc. At Curse, we strive to get better every day and we expect our leaders to drive personal growth both for themselves and their teams.   • Development of a plan to meet and exceed sales revenue goals
  • Development and implementation of an in-market sales strategy
  • Management of territory budget, sales, and marketing strategies
  • Management of staffing roles/strategies
  • Development of new sales products
  • Ensuring the long-term success of your team


  • 10+ years in relevant media sales position
  • Ability to close large, complex sales programs
  • A wide network of contacts in the non-endemic marketplace
  • Ability to be flexible and responsive in the demanding environment of a start-up organization
  • Strong selling and closing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly motivated and accustomed to performing and meeting quotas
  • Solid understanding of interactive advertising, ad types, tracking, and optimization
  • Knowledge of ad related issues and creative approaches to digital RFP
